EROWA PM Tooling is a specially developed clamping solution for powder metallurgy tools. It enables dies, punches, mold inserts, and tool holders to be positioned with precision, repeatability, and stability—both for machining and for measurement and inspection processes.

The robust design, clearly defined reference surfaces, and modular mounting systems ensure reproducible results even with complex tool geometries and high quality requirements.

Solid fixing of dies and punches

The PM base plates and mold holders enable the safe clamping of dies, guide sleeves, ejectors and mold inserts. All components are designed for the geometries and load cases of powder metallurgy.

FAQ - PM tooling

Without a clamping system, changing out press tools in powder presses takes an enormous amount of time. By using punch, die, and center pin chucks, setup time is reduced to an absolute minimum.

Matrices, punches and center pins for the efficient production of simple and complex pressed-powder parts.

Powder compaction tools have extremely tight tolerances. The use of the PM Tooling clamping system enables high-precision manufacturing and finishing of these tools.
