Universal Power Chuck
The EROWA UPC (Universal PowerChuck System) is the universal zero-point clamping system for workpieces, electrodes and pallets. With clamping powers of up to 80,000 N and a repeatability < 0.002 mm, it ensures maximum precision in all machining processes - from milling and eroding to measuring.
The system can be seamlessly combined with EROWA MTS, PowerChuck P and ITS System for EDM Tooling. Whether manual or automated - the UPC system ensures process-safe workpiece clamping and is completely compatible with EROWA JMS 4.0 all EROWA automation devices without any loss in accuracy.
Highest performance
With 50 kN clamping force and optional retightening function (80 kN) for all chuck types, the UPC holds everything that needs to be held and withstands everything that needs to be withstood.
Perfectly sealed
The special rubber seal reliably protects the UPC 2.0 chuck against the ingress of chips and liquids. The contact surfaces are automatically and thoroughly cleaned with air.
For different workpiece sizes
The UPC 2.0 chuck with integrated ITS chuck ensures seamless integration of the EROWA ITS 50 or ITS 100 workpiece carriers into the UPC palletising system. This combination allows flexible use of the clamping system depending on the size of the parts.
Automation-capable
Full integration into automated production cells: pallets are handled, positioned and loaded and unloaded automatically – ideal for low-staff shifts and lights-out operation.
Low overall height
The low overall height of the UPC 2.0 chuck with pallet leaves plenty of space for clamping devices and workpieces.
Maximum compatibility
UPC 2.0 chucks feature a mounting hole pattern that allows them to be mounted on almost any machine table without additional adaptation.
