Thanks to its monoblock design, the EROWA Robot Easy can be easily and quickly attached to the machine and is operational in no time.
Heavy workpieces
With a transfer weight of 250 kg, it is perfect for moving pallets of the EROWA MTS system, which are used mainly for milling and grinding.
Long gripper travel
The gripper travels up to 1,500 mm (X-axis). This allows the Robot Easy to reach also the tables of larger machining centres. To retrofit an existing machine, it may be beneficial to place the robot on the operator side of the equipment. This gives the operator enough access space for manual operation of the machine.
Robot Easy in practice
The Robot Easy features magazine options for all EROWA tooling systems - be it for 10 UPC pallets (320 x 320 mm), 6 MTS pallets (400 x 400 mm) or 4 MTS pallets (500 x 500 mm). The EWIS chip identification system captures all magazine positions and reports them to the cell computer.
The large loading door allows easy access for loading the machine, either manually or with a loading crane.
To ensure that the handling facility can travel freely, the machine tool requires a door that opens and closes automatically. The optional EROWA Universal Robodoor is an automatic loading door for all machine tools. It can be retrofitted to the machine tailored to requirements, cost-effectively, and with minimum installation effort.
